As a new member of the Association, you may have questions about our neighborhood. River Oaks at Geist consists of 124 homes, located in Lawrence Township. Heavily wooded back yards and views of a small lake make this one of the prettiest in the Lawrence area. Families enjoy Annual Night Out celebrations, Safe Trick or Treating, Holiday Light Contests, Summer Movie Nights and other family activities. Living in a well-kept neighborhood is what makes living in an HOA desirable to many home buyers. The River Oaks at Geist Homeowner Association is governed by a set of Covenants available on our website: www.riveroaksatgeist.org. When you purchase a home in the neighborhood you become a member of the HOA.  The HOA is governed by a group of unpaid, elected officials and volunteers who support the community by maintaining the common areas and two neighborhood entrances. We are committed to the idea that adhering to a set of covenants builds pride in community and increases property values. All residents who own a home in the community adhere to the same set of standards for the upkeep of their home’s exterior, as well as to noise and parking.

We also partner with the Lawrence Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit and can help homeowners if there are questions about municipal code compliance.

HOA Dues are $125 per year. If you live on the lake there is an additional fee of $125 for lake maintenance and insurance that is paid to a separate Association.
